NKOTB Announce 'Total Package' Tour with Boyz II Men, Paula Abdul

Nov 15th, 2016

11/15/2016 by Billboard Staff

New Kids on the Block are already the total package, but now they're hitting the road with The Total Package tour. Their massive summer outing will feature special guests Boyz II Men and, with her first tour in 25 years, Paula Abdul. The tour is slated to kick off on May 12 with a show at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio and runs through July 16 with a show at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.

The follow up to their massive 2013 Package Tour -- which also featured Boyz II Men, but swapped Abdul for 98 Degrees -- will hit 40 North American cities, with a special Boston homecoming show at Fenway Park on July 8, marking their second time headlining the historic baseball mecca. The tour will also feature their first-ever performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (June 2), as well as stops in Houston, New Orleans, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago and Philadelphia.

"Our fans know we love to bring them a party, and this tour is no exception," NKOTB's Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement. "It’s not just a show, it’s an experience. Paula Abdul is such a pop icon and Boyz II Men are one of the best R&B acts of all time. It’s going to be a night of hit after hit, and we can’t wait to deliver the ‘Total Package’ to our fans!"'
