Derek Hough is a multi-talented entertainer whose career spans film, television and stage. Currently a judge on NBC’s World of Dance, Derek’s credits includes “Dancing with the Stars”, which earned him 2 Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Choreography, 9 Emmy nominations and 6 Mirror Ball championships. More previous works include NBC’s “Hairspray Live!”, and stage performances such as Radio City Music Hall’s Spring Spectacular co-starring Laura Benanti. Derek is also a published author, with a New York Times Best Selling memoir “Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion.” Derek’s experience, innovation and daring choreography has moved dancers and dance lovers all over the world.
